Core Advantages

Six Reasons Clients Return to Us

Single Technician Per Watch

One technician handles your piece from intake to collection. Nothing is passed between hands mid-service. That continuity matters for mechanical accuracy and for accountability.

Full Written Documentation

Condition reports come with every mechanical service. Your watch is photographed on arrival, all findings are recorded, and you receive the report on collection.

Quoted Pricing Before Work Starts

We give you a clear price before any work begins. If we discover something during service that changes the scope, we contact you first — no surprises on the invoice.

Period-Correct Parts for Heritage Pieces

For antique and vintage watches, we source components that are appropriate to the movement period and calibre. Generic substitutes are not used on heritage restorations.

Timing Machine Verification

Every serviced mechanical movement is tested in multiple positions before reassembly. Accuracy data is included in the written report, so you can see the result of the work.

Regular Progress Updates

For longer restoration projects, you'll hear from us at each meaningful stage. We don't leave clients waiting in silence for weeks on end.

Expertise

Over Twenty Years with Mechanical Movements

Lead technician Weerachai Noppakun began working with watches in 2003. That depth of experience means the diagnostic process at Wela Naga covers more ground than a general service. Movement behaviour, wear patterns, and part condition are read together — not assessed in isolation.

For vintage calibres in particular, experience matters enormously. What looks like a timing issue is sometimes a lubrication problem; what looks like a mainspring fault can trace back to a worn click spring. Experience is what distinguishes a complete repair from one that merely quiets a symptom.

Equipment

Proper Tools, Maintained Properly

Workshop equipment is only useful if it's maintained and calibrated. Our timing machine, pressure testing unit, and ultrasonic bath are all serviced regularly. We don't use equipment that gives unreliable readings just because it still functions.

Bangkok's climate — high humidity, variable temperature — makes this especially relevant. Water resistance testing is not optional here; it's essential for any watch that will be worn regularly.

Communication

Service Without Guesswork

Many watch owners describe the same frustration: sending a piece in, hearing nothing for weeks, then receiving it back with no explanation of what was done or why. We've built Wela Naga to be different on this point specifically.

Client services is handled by a dedicated team member, not a technician pulled away from bench work. Enquiries are answered promptly. Progress on longer projects is shared at each meaningful stage. You're kept in the picture.

What Sets Us Apart

Things You Won't Find Elsewhere

Service History Record

Every watch we work on becomes part of an ongoing record. If you return in three years for another service, we have the full prior history — what was done, what parts were sourced, and what condition the movement was in at each visit.

Pre-Work Assessment at No Cost

Before quoting, we assess your watch — visually and, where appropriate, through movement observation. The assessment is free. You only pay if you agree to proceed with work.

Paced to the Piece, Not the Calendar

Heritage restorations are not rushed to hit a weekly throughput target. A piece is considered complete when it's genuinely ready — when accuracy is stable and condition is as good as it can be, not when a slot in the collection queue opens.

English-Language Service in Bangkok

For international clients and expats in Bangkok, communicating the nuances of a watch's condition and service requirements in English is important. Our client services role is fully bilingual.
