Why Choose Wela Naga
Craft You Can Count On
Thorough Diagnostics
Every watch receives a careful inspection before work begins. We document condition, identify what needs attention, and share our findings with you before proceeding.
Specialist Hands-On Work
Our technicians work exclusively with timepieces — no watches share bench time with phones or electronics. Each piece receives focused, unhurried attention.
Written Reports
A condition report accompanies every mechanical service — a clear record of what was found, what was done, and the state of your watch on collection.
Water-Resistance Testing
Mechanical and heritage pieces are pressure-tested following service, using calibrated equipment maintained to current standards for the Bangkok climate.
Period-Correct Parts
For heritage restorations, we source parts that are appropriate to the period and calibre — not generic substitutes — to preserve the watch's character and value.
Clear Communication
We keep you informed at each stage of longer projects. No surprises on collection — only a watch returned in better condition than it arrived, with full transparency on the work carried out.

Questions & Answers
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does a mechanical service take?
A standard mechanical movement service typically takes two to three weeks. This allows adequate time for careful disassembly, part sourcing if needed, ultrasonic cleaning, lubrication, and regulated timing checks. We'll give you a more specific window when we assess your piece at intake.
Do I need an appointment to bring my watch in?
Walk-ins are welcome during workshop hours, though we recommend contacting us first — particularly for heritage restoration enquiries — so we can give your visit proper time. You can call, email, or use the form on this page.
What happens if parts need to be replaced?
We will contact you before replacing any parts beyond the scope agreed at intake. For routine services, basic wear components such as gaskets and lubricants are included. For heritage restorations, part sourcing is discussed with you openly, including origin and cost, before we proceed.
Do you service all watch brands?
We work with most Swiss, Japanese, and European mechanical and quartz movements across a wide range of marques. Please contact us about your specific piece — for some rare calibres or modern proprietary movements, we'll be straightforward about whether we're the right workshop for the job.
What is the pricing for each service?
Our published prices are: Mechanical Movement Servicing from ฿4,300; Battery & Quartz Care Package from ฿9,500; Heritage Restoration Project from ฿17,800. Final quotes may vary depending on the condition of the movement and any additional parts required — we will always confirm the cost before work begins.
How do I know my watch is safe with you?
Every watch is logged on arrival with a written intake record and photographs. Pieces are stored securely in the workshop. You receive a condition report on collection, and we're happy to answer questions at any point during the process.
Can antique or very old watches be restored?
Yes. Our Heritage Restoration Project is designed specifically for cherished older pieces. We pace the work to the watch, source period-appropriate components wherever possible, and keep the owner informed throughout. If a watch has sentimental or collector value, we handle it accordingly.
